Hey guys. I'm in the middle of starting my first build. I have a couple questions to keep my progress going. My main thing is the gear ratio. I'm running a 4-link with a diag link and a ford 9". I've seen anything from a 3.50-3.20~. I'm looking to run low 10s and possilby set it up for pro street. (I'm going ahead and having the bar built for sub 9.99 passes)
N E ways. Motor should be around 1000hp (with the aid of a little bit of nitrous) and going to run a 47rh. We're getting all the parts together for the rear end so I'll be able to get it back to a roller pretty quick. Do I run a higher gear ratio to help stimulate the boost from a big single? Any suggestions on the gear ratio? thanks james
