Nah, below 1000hp with decent tuning, your rods, crank, cam, and axles are fine.


With a tuner, you'll need at least a little trans work (TC, billet input, and VB will keep you happy for a while).

Past ~425rwhp, you'll need a bigger turbo and a lift pump.

Past ~530rwhp you'll need bigger injectors and CP3 work.

600rwhp+ and things start getting expensive and you'll start doing the smaller detail stuff that adds up.


Studs, rod bolts, main bolts, and a lift pump will keep you in pretty good shape for a very long time though.
