What micron filter did diesel controls say to run?

I would go to the Donaldson filters before deleting a filter all together, even if you only run say two of the P551000 it’s better than not having one there at all.

I should’ve asked diesel controls but I didn’t. I can still give them a call and ask. Took the filter off, which only has 5 miles on it. Here’s what it looks likeClick the image to open in full size.

Is that algae?

And wix website only says “max flow 12-15gpm”
no pressure rating at that flow.

That could be your rubber lines breaking down, I don’t have much experience with algae.

Both power service and FPPF have treatments for algae though.

Looks like Algae, but I've seen it look different depending on how long it is allowed to grow. Could just be filtering crap out of the tank.

I would get some biocide and treat the hell out of that tank and whatever you fill it from if you have a farm tank...
