Reznor propane heater help

Good morning compd, was wondering if anyone on here has some knowledge on reznor hanging heaters.

I recently purchased a home with a detached two bay garage and it came with a reznor hanging heater. Was told it was a working unit. I purchased a 100lb propane tank with regulator and hooked it up and followed the lighting instructions and the unit isnt firing.

Lighting instructions are

1. Turn electric on to unit
2. Turn main control valve to on
3. Set thermostat.

When setting thermostat I can hear the unit "click" but nothing is happening. If I turn the main control valve to pilot and press it down I can light the pilot, then turn the valve to on and it will work but blower doesn't come on. I then can turn the blower on manually and the unit will heat the garage. It wont shut off via thermostat though. I have to shut it all down manually. I know that's not how the unit is supposed to work.

I wondering if someone can give me some advice on troubleshooting it so it will just operate via thermostat. Reznor doesnt have a manual listed online and because the unit is "discontinued" they will only supply a manual to a HVAC tech. I'll attach pictures on the model, and lightning instructions.
