24v swap into 12v truck

Has anyone swapped a 24v motor into a 12 truck?

I have a built p-pumped 24v I want to swap into my 12v truck, what all do I need/have to do to get all the guages to work on the dash.

Just need power to lift pump and power to starter to make it run, but I want it all to work hand and hand

Thank you!

Very easy swap, take all your sensors off the 12v and put them on the 24v(tach sensor, oil pressure,) the factory pcm (to run the cluster) has no idea the 24v is in the truck. Only sensor that was a hassle switching was the coolant temp, the factory 12v sensor is a fairly large pipe thread sensor (don’t remember exact size) and there is no place to thread it in the head(like the 12v location)on a 24v. I just ended up placing the sensor by the oil cooler and extended the wiring to reach the sensor.

What year 12-valve? I believe ‘94-‘96 sensors are pipe thread, ‘97-‘98 are straight metric boss o-ring thread like the 24-valves. You’ll also need to adapt the ESS and run the 12-valve damper.
