Alligators 5th annual hunting for horsepower (H4H) is this weekend. Who's coming? Who's bringing their truck for the dyno/sled/dirt drags?

Heard some chatter on bookface about some compD members driving and flying in

I believe I will be there Sunday. A guy I know will be running in the dirt drags with a really stout Dmax.

I'm coming in my work truck and will be wandering around in a compD shirt

Well a highlight of the first day, Shawn Baca's truck took the high horse in unlimited dyno class with 2,106hp, with a 10% correction factor

Like "dyno racing" or not, it's still cool Baca's truck was able to make that power, especially with only a 10% CF....

Matt Jensen was 1480hp yesterday fuel only, and I think that was the highest on fuel.

What's this rumour I heard of Baca running 50% methanol and 50% diesel as his fuel????

Its not big numbers... But I busted a 3 year goal at the event this weekend.... First rotary pumped IDI over 400whp... I did 401/835 on the Auto-Trend dyno with only 4% correction.

Sorry for the crappy phone vid...

Edit: Here is my race against Chris Rosscup... A healthy duramax... I only lost by a few feet...

Does that bronco have a build thread? Makes me happy in the pants

Saw it in line next to my friends' trucks, clean looking Bronco

Pardon my Naivety, but why on earth would 50/50 diesel/methanol be better than 100% diesel?... Last time I checked, volume for volume, diesel had much more energy.... I guess if it has some sort of burn quality, but I dont see it in any obvious way...
