K1500 12 valve race truck

Hi, I am in the process of turning a k1500 into a drag truck. I have a few questions about the transmission I will be using. I will be using a 47re. I want to put a manual valve body in it. My question is, with a manual valve body, will I need any electronics to control it? I am installing a floor shifter to shift it. I don't have a wire harness for it so that's why i am wondering. Any help would be great! Thanks

You will need to run switches for overdrive and the TCC.

Alright that's exactly what I figured! How do I hook up switches for those? Like where do I tap into them and how do I know which wires to tap into?
