I will call Goerends and talk to Craig again. I have been to their shop, but they have quit doing service work.

It was working fine until my converter stayed locked up. Now it seems like shifts are very firm sometimes almost jerky. Craig at Goerends thought maybe governor solenoid is sticky or some $4500 stepper(?) motor is going bad.

I may give him a call. I took truck to a guy that does transmission work that is down the road from me. He drove it and had his scanner hooked up. Said everything looks good and thinks the new triple disc convertor is causing the harder shifts.
