Ultimate Tow Rig BUILD

Sad day to see the mega cab short bed for sale!

But, congrats on the new truck! Looks like it will do everything you need and more :Cheer:

Hardest part about my truck build is the budget lol... I try to not take any money out of the savings to build it, only money from side jobs, etc.

No, kinda odd but still on bolts. It does have the Aisin trans which is the main reason I jumped on it, checked all the boxes.

I'm curious how does your Aisin handle the tunes, turbo, and extra power?

My 2013 Aisin handles a 40-45hp tow file just fine, but I want to get a knob with some fun tunes, and I'm wondering how it'll react.

I'm also curious what your truck would put down on a dyno. What S300 is on it? Max boost?

I got the chance to speak with the original owner when I bought it, he said it pulled a 40ft cattle trailer for about 150k of the 200k miles I bought it with. It had a 75hp CTT tune and DPS 64/71/14 on it when I bought it, but I’m not sure how long it was on there. I went to Tenacity Tuning with a SOTF 0-150hp tunes and it runs great. I’m not sure on boost, I’m sure not a whole lot with a gated housing.

I don’t really get on this truck much, like I have probably had it on the floor 4-5 times in the last 20k miles... my main concern is drive ability, efficiency, and longevity. I have another Aisin I plan to rebuild and swap in later with some upgraded parts.
