need help with my ts shift master?

hey can you help I installed my shift master on my 2006 dodge and I got a p1754 code I think it was "transmission throttle actuator valve stuck" when I installed it?. instead of running the black and red wires to the trans I run them to my mp8 box and to the battery so should I run the wires to the trans and hook them up there? thanks
