Looks good. There are a couple of burs inside the egt probe holes where they drilled it and didn’t get the bur out, so I need to clean that up before I install it. But other than that it’s decent

Rack and pinion is set up. Huge shoutout to the great #turbatom for the guidance and ideas on this. We talked about it a bit when I first bought these parts.

Should be able to remove the two bolts from the rack to access the cover.

Edit: on second look, I'm not so sure. The webbing isn't burnt in but no other attachment for it is visible.

Correct, unbolt the rack and unbolt that webbing and the cover will come off.

Couple of ignorant questions:
- Is Ronin Engineering still operating? I love the nickel coating but their website has 0 available and some people saying they went under?
- What is the purpose of an aluminum racing seat? 4 or 5 point harness? Seems to me like those hard edges would damage your body more in a crash than a soft seat…something I’ve always wondered.

No they are no longer available. I got this one second hand. And the weight savings as well as the harness…. They have foam inserts to go in them so they aren’t so harsh

I use those same wheels (Raceline Renegade) with a set of DR2's. They're currently on their way to Mac Fab to be converted to beadlocks.

Once they get back I will learn how to post pics.

I wanted a set of Bogarts, however that's like $6k. So modifying the current wheels is my route.

Well, after a year and a half wait the second bedside finally came in and is mounted! This project got pushed to the back burner for a bit, as we were getting the shop operational and also doing a full rebuild on my tow rig… but that project is almost done and parts have been rolling in, so we will be back on this project soon!
