I was wondering if using the enamels that are for painting tractors and implements any good for my work truck. I just want the truck to be one color and the paint to last 2-3 years. I have read in a few areas about adding a hardner to bring out the shine and lay the paint better. Has anyone done this before. juts trying to find a low buck diy type of solution.

I shot my puller with the Tsc valspar restoration series enamel this winter. I used the hardner and it turned out great. I shot it ac Orange. Hope this helps

You can also use the dupli color paint shop paint from any auto parts store, they are ready to spray right out of the can. They have all sorts of colors, regular and candies etc. Look at duplicolors site for more info
