Flying a lot of hours and a few deployments will do that.

Anyone pondered adding heat sinks to the bottom of one of these where the drain plug is ? Would get good airflow to pull some heat out of the pan/oil ? But not quite as extreme as the cooling tubes in the 6.0 Moroso 28 quart oil pan haha

I've been thinking about doing this to the one I'm building.

I ended up building my own flange, cost me so far roughly $21 for material and about 2.5 hrs. I used 3/8x1.0 6061 flatbar.

Maxtorq offered to send me his flanges he had made but I ended up starting to make mine before I heard back from him. But A Big thanks to him for offering.

I drilled as many holes as I could on the ends/corners before welding. I wont use every hole on the side of the block, but will be adding more on the corners.

I'll flip it over and weld the other side then use a flap disc to grind it smooth.

I did Sunday morning (morning after I built my flange), for some reason it was in my spam folder. I usually never think to look in my spam folder. Lesson learned. But Thanks again for offering, possibly someone else could use them.
