Guys,

I'm at time for new brakes.. past time. In the old days- there was a quality difference in Borg Warner,Centric, Bendix,ACdelco etc. I see them on Amazon from $55-68.
From the pictures, it appears only the Bendix show a welded on balance weight. Perhaps the others are remove metal or the process is skipped?

Any quality difference in the China made stuff? I was going to get new shoes- maybe 314pg or AC Delco 17314R.

So what did you guys use which yielded good results. I'd rather spend a few extra $$ and not be in here again for a very long time.

I was thinking of using the fancy National 370150A seals which don't rely on the original surface.

I would take a look at Rock Auto and go with the higher quality Raybestos drums.
