Glowplug light and intermittently losing full power

Hey guys, I rebuilt the motor on my 06 auto truck and since I installed it I have been getting a new engine light. I think it is the glowplug light. When it comes on I can't get full power, it feels like the engine is not fully fueled--like maybe 60-75% power. I've gotten codes for low voltage to the ECM, low voltage to the trans, and low injector voltage.

My question is where should I start trying to track this down?

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks!

Most likely it's low on rail pressure. Ussually you would get a p0148 fuel error or other low rail codes. Get a scanner on it and check desired vs actual pressure and see if it is failing to keep up. Ussually this I caused by loose connector tubes. Also load test the batteries individually.

I would start by checking all the grounds. If you forgot some ground straps between the body or frame to the engine the ecm could be hunting for a ground. If a module does not have good voltage and equally good ground wierd stuff can happen.

Had this light coming on while driving but only when it was sub zero. Thought it was normal. Turns out it was high fuel return. I replaced my cross over tubes and it went away. I would try re torquing them first.

High return rate. If not tubes then injector issue

I'll find out this weekend. Since I didn't have the light before I R&R the engine I'm guessing I screwed up on installing the supply tubes. I'll try to torque on them and if that don't work we'll see about some upgraded injectors and tubes at the same time. This way I can justify it to my wife as a repair instead of Hot Rodding.
