How can I get more power out of my Farmall 706D with the 283ci Diesel?

You could turbo it.

I pull against a 283ci farmall 560, and it runs darn good with just the fuel cranked up and timing advanced, besides it starts like its -50F everytime. Glowplugs everytime, even if its 100F, but I guess that's the nature of the beast.

But it all depends on what you want to do with it.
