Fm 750 on a spreader truck

I'm trying to get my father in laws spreader truck figured out. It was working great with vrt lime, but he said when they started using different products it can't find the target rate. I've tried changing everything.
 
Field iq and trimble control setup. That sounds like a good possibility. It's got 10 tons of urea/mesz needing to go out right now. Hopefully the case guy can make it out tomorrow.

Can I test for a bad sensor?
 
I'm not for sure. I know it's a fm-750 monitor with field iq and trimble rate box. All running a bbi magnaspread.
