I have a 94 cummins with a 160 pump and a nv4500 looking to get 500-550hp i plan on building a set of twins hx35-ht3b im not sure what i need on the fuel side to get the power im looking for. It will be put on the road but not be a daily driver just a play truck. It will not be hualing a trailer or anything like that. might hook it to a sled once or twice just for fun but thats about it. Any help will be appreciated.

5x.014s
024 DVs
4k GSK and 60# valve springs
AFC mods
Mack rack plug
timing in the 18 to 20* range
Pusher pump (carter) or full fuel system

I laid down 422/903 on stock DVs, 3k governor washer mod, AFC mods, 100 plate FF, 19* timing, 5x.014s, 60/60/VGT holset, and a pusher pump... The 160 pumps respond well to the rack plug and the 4k springs would help fuel harder for longer. So those alone I feel would easily get me into the 500rwhp range even on my little single since I never went over 1250* on the dyno :Cheer:

5x.016's
stock 181 delivery valves
mack rack plug
4kgsk
0 plate full forward
arp head studs so you don't blow a headgasket
18*
stock fuel system
got me to 458/1053 uncorrected on stock hx35/12cm housing, so if I had a little bit more air I know 500+whp was there. If I was you I would build a set of twins with your hx35 and an s475 with a 1.32 housing. very common setup.

for 500-550 id say run a 71mm under the HX35, quicker spoolup and still plenty of air for 550-600 if you want.

very true, its going to take lots of tuning to hit 500+ on a dyno with a 71mm as a single, but you'll know it has the power on the street though.

When he said "under the HX35" he meant use the 71mm as the bottom charger in twins.
