Fleece converter lock up

Hey guys, I'm new to pulling and i'm going to be installing the fleece converter lock up switch this week for an upcoming pull, I was wondering during the run when you guys have found the best time to lock and unlock the switch. I've read about 40' when you get moving and then unlock when you start feeling yourself being pulled down. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

40' seems to be decent starting point, but that depends on the track. Basically command lockup at the speed when the turbo is lit and ground speed after lockup won't stall out the turbine wheel.

so do you lock it when you reach max rpm or earlier? just enough rpm so you don't stall the truck out?
