I'll be there! Hey KTMracer21. Are you running a TC lock up switch? I'm having trouble getting mine to work.

They have no provisions for more than 26" hitch height.
telling me that a a tape measuere and a flat plate of steel wont work?..
no expidition pull either?

rich said he would allow it right before the mercer pull few months back (1st pull of the season)
and would be willing to work with me. along with another guy that wants to build a 2wd pullign truck.

now few day before a pull were a 2wd is planing on showing up. i get the "kick dirt" type of repsonse on the matter..

im not pulling for points or cash
i dont see the problem here?

let me addressthe FPP policy on this TWD issue.

1. the hitch height for the class is 26". every truck that runs in the class for the money will have a 26" drawbar height.
2. FPP is always very willing to allow 'something different' so long as it does not violate the existing rules //or// so long as it runs as an EXHIBITION.
3. our tech committee will be very glad to look at this situation in the future once sufficient data has been gathered.
one or two runs is NOT sufficient data.
4. this has been the FPP policy since the issue of TWD trucks in the diesel class first arose in the early Spring.

i have no problem hooking as an exhibition pull. i apologize for not making that known :bang

Malibu, the other thing to keep in mind is that Butler is one of the biggest truck draws of the year. In the past few years there was one track and the pull would last into the wee hours. In these cases, exhibition runs are generally not as welcome as they would be at a smaller, less well attended event (or a pure pull, not a fair).

Now this year they're having two tracks so hopefully that alleviates some of the time component. Most fairs prefer to have things over at a reasonable hour due to noise and traffic.

I think you'll find FPP to be a pretty good bunch. Work with them and they will work with you.

TWD Test hook

Looking forward to see the TWD Diesel run at Butler on Thursday.

Hey Matt am I ever going to see you again at a pull or just have to text you while I'm at a pull?:ft:
