lift pump

can someone fill me in on where the lift pump is located on my truck:bang

It is most likely mounted under the fuel filter assembly on the left side of your engine. Bump the starter with your key switch but do not start the engine. You should here it buzzing. ( if its working)
It could have been replaced with a tank unit by the Dodge dealer if they had to replace the VP44. In which case the buzzing noise will be inside the tank.

don't do the intank lift pump if you're thinking this --don't let a dealer talk you into it either--chris

Get the FASS System or atleast the FASS Pump.... If your low on cash you can get the Vulcan Relocation Kit and get a Holley Blue Pump...

I was thinking of going with the aeromotive a1000. money really isnt an issue.with all the bad things i here about the vp44 it makes me want to go p pump.
