Though i understand the reasoning behind the weight being the same and thought it should be any way but dropping it 7500 is wrong. Wasnt this class originally 8000 to start with? I think the name for this class really needs to change because its the farthest this from a true RWYB class as i have ever seen. It has more rules that limit the class then most other classes have in general.

If its 8000 Open, I'll be back!!!Say goodnight, gassers!!
The gasser boys are not man enough to allow it. They couldn't even begin to compete at 8000 open.
Oh, the gassers will never go to 8000-they don't have enough power to turn the tires if they have the extra traction.

the rules MUST be set so that every truck in the class has an equal chance of winning at any given pull. as soon as one group begins to dominate the class has lost its appeal. and IF there is not participation from both gas and diesel, the class will be over. our goal is to keep the two groups as equal as possible.
and .... FPP does NOT care who wins as long as the class is competitive.
the pull at DEEP CREEK a couple of weeks ago was the one of the best RWYB classes of the 2011 season:
Zedreck = GAS - Chevy 332
Martin = GAS Chevy 330
Holnader - DIESEL - Dodge 328
Hinchberger - GAS - Ford 325
Dan Holnader was the only high-powered DIESEL in the class, but he put on a super show for the fans.
i am hoping for some good running DIESELS to come to Bloomsburg, PA on Saturday, September 24 for the USA-EAST FINALS of RWYB.

None of the 8000lb diesels ever got higher than 4th place in the points race, but they were the one given the weight deduction! ?????????

hey pops. as you well know after this year .... if you don't make all the hooks, you can't finish too high in the point race.

I didn't structure my statement properly. None of the penalized trucks ever placed higher than 4th place at any one pull. How can that be threating enough to be accessed the weight reduction? Not telling you how to run your pop stand Rick, just sticking up for the diesel community.

I've been watching Holnader all season. I remember an exhibition hook at Trumbull County he finally got it to light. Was great to see.

Um, 8000 Open would include turbo and blower gassers.....eh?
Goodnight diesels.....but it would be incredible to watch.....clash of the titans kind of thing.

3, which is how many more times than zero? Wait that is still zero.... And I didn't come on pulling threads and call out anyone. I would have thought from the spring threads at least one hook would have been in order.
Walk a mile in your shoes? What does that mean? And yeah, I had, and still have a running truck. I have a street truck that made more hooks than a dedicated puller.

Well, you're the baddest ass thing that ever lived then.
If you can't comprehend the phrase "walk a mile in my shoes," you need to call your middle school up and ask for a refund.

Yeah, they're like your truck, broke. So I doubt I'll get any money from them...
Is this mile you speak of uphill, or more flat in nature?
