Pro Stock concern:

Not trying to try to start a storm but do you think the rules for Pro Street are going to change much??

My fear is we are loosing a consistant pulller base. If the class is small it is only going to hurt the sell value to the fair boards. My thought is there is only 6-7 trucks that attend on a regular basis.

My goal is saying something is to throw out ideas before the rules meeting. So that people are prepaired to make there decisions what rules they want to fallow, or the options given. I am pretty sure that a majority of the pullers view this site for time to time. Maybe some will have input...

RJ and I go to these meetings with very little in mind to change. in the PS Diesel class I would not expect changes to occur. also the six or seven that follow the PS class regularly are great trucks that put on a super show. and there are always some 'extra' trucks in the class. This makes the class 'quite marketable' to our clients.

input on a board like this is very much appreciated from all classes

Not trying to be a smart a$$ but why would you have a rule meeting on a Thursday. We bust our a$$'s to pay for our pulling trucks then y'all pull another stunt like that. Why not have a meeting not on a work night or would that make to much sense.

Oh ya that's right around the corner I forgot. Ya it's over an hour drive one way plus a solid hour drive home from work. 4:00 am comes early. This cracks me up how much of a degenerate some people are.

So that's what it takes to make the big bucks?? You better be graceful there's not a pull during a weekday. The world just may have to stop on its axis for a couple hours. So you may grace us with your presence.

Work before play. I don't go to pulls during the week because of my job. Maybe I should quit my union job and get a job cutting grass or something?

Please explain how it is some kind of hardship to get your ass home by 5, eat dinner, leave at 6, be in L.Co by 7, stay until 9.....be home by 10.

Pretty normal day for lots of people.

That probably would be the best financial decisions of your life time. Considering I would bet the farm my grass cutting job pay three to four times your union grocery bagging job dose. But I have been wrong once or twice before.

I'm not winning just making a point. Full pull covers alot of ground and people that pull are spread out that pull with then. Most of them have families. I guess I'm the only one that views it from that angle.

Yeah, and quite a few of the regulars will be coming from at least an hour away....and they're not on here "winning".

Last year I drove for more than an hour....had fun at the meeting, went home.....and lived to tell about it.
