2014 Ford Check Engine Light

I have a 2014 Ford with the 6.7 in it. Truck has 130K on it, and lately when I tow anything with some weight the check engine light will come on. Then the next day after driving it for a bit it will go off. Anyone seen this before? My first thoughts are DPF/EGR, but I never get somewhere to scan it while light is on.

If I tow my brothers little 6x12 with mower on it, it wont show up. I towed my off road truck with 22x8 tandem Saturday about 80 miles and it came on, for reference.

Thanks
Brian

Be easier if you could get it scanned with ids save you a lot of guess work.

Don’t matter if light goes off cause the code should be stored.
