So will parts breakage be front to back anyway or will it be head gaskets and converter, transmission issues? My truck will be used for drag racing and some sled pulling.
I'd advise...

1.Don't go crazy with timing (only way stock block is an issue)
2.Don't stay on the converter for too long spooling or staging
3.Unless you're willing to risk major damage, let off if it starts bouncing (sled pulling or drag racing)

Right now your turbo will be your limiting factor on horsepower, but I don't think that's a bad thing. See how you like it there before deciding to step up.

Very sound advice, Thanks! I have a knowlegable and well known tuner thats going to dial in my truck at a nearby 1/8th mile track. This should save me years and dollars.

I'm not sure on the compression ratio but it's where I won't have to do ether starts at least not in the summer.

I have taken the big leap and am waiting on my D&J deck plated 6.7 short block. Looks like I will have to change turbos now. This ought to hold together much better.

Drew said it was still 8 to 10 weeks away. I'm glad I waited on sending my pump in as this will be a different set up more than likely.

Thanks! It wasn't easy explaining to the wife how we had to go big and get something bullet proof otherwise it was bound to break. Thank God the woman still loves me after 40+ years.

Thanks for the offer! I shipped my Hamilton street head to D&J earlier this week to be fireringed to match the block. The block will be done in 2 weeks. The change to the deck plated 6.7 sure changes my p-pump plan which was a mild built 13mm one. My 64/80 compounds are small now for the potential of this motor.

After several changes I finally have my deck plated 6.7 here in Missouri. Just recently got my 900cc 13mm pump from Seth and my injectors should be here soon. Putting a Waterman pump on it with .120 lines and hoping to dyno it this month.

I want to see this thing run. What are you doing for air, still the 480? Threads like this get me nervous about my 64.5/485 with a 13mm pump decision. Maybe I should go to a 69....

Right now I have 64/80 compounds and hope to take it to the track a time or two and then work on a 2.6 pulling set up. I have been catching up on some things so the truck has had to wait. I did get in my Waterman pump and a pile of hoses and clamps plus my .120 lines. The shop that's helping me is building a UCC Qualifier truck so I'm next in line.
