For our brake setup we ran into TBM Brakes at the PRI show and they advertise a Zero drag, instant ON/OFF brake caliper setup if used with a hydro boost setup that has at least 1000psi. They say Pro Stock cars that switch to their brake setup have gone from 198mph to 202mph with only a brake change. We had Drew @ D&J machine the hats to mount the rotors and also cut the caliper mounting brackets for the front. These brakes have performed beyond our expectations after the first weekend of racing, we are very impressed and would recommend them to anyone.

We had to turn down the outside of the front hubs to fit the hat, a lot of work, but in the end worth all the efforts.

finishing mounting the new front clip and bumper.

We cut inspection covers into the cab for easy access to the bellhousing bolts and Tcase bolts incase we have to do a quick trans swap at the track. Also started installing the Spaghetti Menders wireing system.

We installed new upper/lower balljoints, new axle ujoints, the control arms we built, an Eaton E locker in the front axle for the sled pull, and 38 spline rear axles and a spool. Once UCC is over we can save another 300lbs by putting a 9" rear in the back but for now we need the strength of the AAMs for the sled pull portion of the event.

I think they were around 10 lbs, All the fiberglass on the truck (bumper, clip, doors, and bedsides) weighed 72lbs before we added our mounting hardware and paint.

We ordered a Lexan Windshield through Shields (Fleece is the main distributor for these as they provided the tooling for them to make these 3rd gen Lexan windshields)
Click the image to open in full size.

The Transmssion is running our standard Comp 3 setup with our new 29 spline input shaft we are testing along with the new Billet Forward Drum that TCS just released due to the problems we've had with their Aermet shafts pulling through the OEM drum. We are running a standard high pressure 48re valve body with an Anteater controller for the 2-3, 3-4 and lockup control. So I'm launching in manual 1st and using a Shiftnoid linked to a button on the steering wheel to shift from manual 1st to drive and let the controller do the rest of the shifting.

Also Running a Surface Pro 4 with EFI data logging on it for now until the Racepak Datalogger shows up.

Thanks for the info. The wiring and brakes are slick! Nice to know about the drop in windshield.

We were 4540lbs without me in it, a 9" rear would get our goal of 4500lbs race weight
