Congrats on the pass!! My last guess for weight was so far off I'm scared this time around. Assuming you put down 60-65% of the 1500us horsepower to the track, I'll do 3950lb.

How does it steer or feel with the manual rack after that pass?

It never felt out of control. It responded well to steering input, but you arent going to steer it with one hand. When it hooks, it takes very little input. But anything with 1000+ hp that is spinning that far out is going to be a handful.

Man, I don't think I'm ready for a real race yet. Still have one pass left for my license. I'm still waiting on my (second) engine diaper too. I'm going to stick around here for the Eagle Field Runway Drags.

1st pass I loaded a tune that was limited to 4500 rpm. My shifter was set to shift at 4700 rpm so it never shifted out of 1st. Les was not home, no way to get another tune until later.
second pass we backed down shift points from 4700 to 4200 and ran again just to make some passes with the rpm limited tune. Went 5.55@ 125 8.78 at 148 out of rpm on the top end. Had a pretty good bounce at lockup that we need to work on. 1.28 60'
3rd pass we softened up the compression 4 clicks and tightened the extension 2 clicks and turned on 1 stage of nitrous (80 jet) at 1.3 seconds with a 1 second ramp from 30% to 100%. The bounce got better with this adjustment, but the converter was acting weird like it was a low stall converter. It locked up late and the lockup and 2nd gear shift happened at the same time and drug to motor down to 2000 rpm. Our converter unlock parameter was set at 2500 so it unlocked and re locked again. Half pass. 1.29 60'
Last pass loaded a new tune with more rpm that Les emailed us. went 4 clicks looser again on compression, added second stage (70 jet) at 2.3 seconds. Converter still acting tight. Stuck hard, but drove right. Wouldnt shift into 3rd for some reason. So nitrous only came on for 3/10 of a second before it was over our max rpm setting for nitrous. Let off before 1/8 mi. 1.29 60'. Here's a video of that pass.
Pass 4 sonoma. - YouTube
We're putting a new valve body in on wednesday and going back to the track wednesday night to see what we can figure out.

Partially, yes. The ramp and timing is controlled by the NOS Launcher.

Mickey Thompson makes it very clear that you should never run screws with their radial tires. You can either glue the tire to the wheel, or run beadlocks. I'm not worried about 1/4" of movement after 3 runs, but I might glue them at some point.
