Here's a picture of the compressor map of the new 69mm overlaid with the old 66mm:

The Borg Warner catalog I picked up at Sema lists the 69mm Super Core as part number 13009097051, it has the same 3.60" inducer at 91.44mm but a larger 2.72" inducer at 69mm. It uses the same 80/73 turbine wheel with the same 0.88, 0.91, and 1.00 turbine housing options.

The catalog lists the key features as:
*360 degree thrust bearing
*Integrated speed sensor port
*Forged milled compressor wheel
*Flexible compressor cover outlet options
*Pre-machined boost port
*Optimized compressor cover aerodynamics

In looking at the compressor map, it would appear that the map maxes out just less than 95 lbs per minute!
However, on the smaller single compressor map listed in the new catalog, they have added in the 58% and 56% efficiency contours that extend the map up to the 96-97 lbs per minute range, not sure if this will ever break 100 lbs per minute but it's still a nice big step up over the current 66mm.

Would be nice if bw warner posted turbine flow maps on their turbos like garrett. Just because it will flow that doesnt mean it has enough turbine to get there. That is the problem with the efr turbos. Say its rated at 950hp but you have to run the largest housing availble to actually hit that number.

If I have been informed correctly on the S400 and S500 there will be a load of new things to come and I’m not only talking about the compressor covers. I can not say a lot only that the 96/88mm turbine will have some more TH options and hope to see the same performance increase as seen on the S300SXE models. When dos this all come remains the question.
