piezoelectric injectors

is the switch to piezo's inevitable for cummins??

I assumed they already were. I have no idea, other than cost, why they wouldn't be! They're faster and more precise than a spool valve, plus they are basically friction-less so they should theoretically last longer.

Much experience with a 6.4? Wouldn't say they would last longer.

I would have to guess fuel quality still plays the most important role in injector life?
