For those that have called, the ET-R GT55-94's are rolling out as we speak. We now offer an aluminum backplate option for those wanting to shave a few (10lbs) off. Also for the Duramax guys the ET-R 80mm GT47's are now available with T4 housings :woohoo:

Now for the $64000 question (I hope it isn't the answer), whats the price tag on a beast like that?

The units with the ET-R wheels....say a GT47-80 ETR starts at 2799, the GT55-80, 88, 91...etc with ET-R wheels start at $2999. Dual ball bearing is an option as well.
 
Is there much flow difference between say a B/W S480 with the ET-R wheel vs. a GT47-80 ET-R vs a GT55-80 ET-R? Just trying to figure out where the difference in cost comes from? reliability? brand name? thanks

The ET-R 80 wheel flows 130+lbs/min. If its coupled with the right turbine wheel the performance differences should be very close, but the turbines are going to flow WAY different. Check the turbine flow maps for the GT47 and GT55...HUGE difference. One of our customers setups going from the GT47 with the ET-R wheel to the GT55 turbine with the same ET-R wheel we picked up ~200rwhp from drive pressure drop. The comp wheel was picking up only 20rwhp per lbs of boost with the GT47 turbine. With the GT55 turbine we were picking up 40+rwhp per lbs of boost.:evil The GT's offer dual BB, more cover options, AL backplates, endless turbine housings. The S400 with the big turbine....well that's it...96mm turbine and a 1.32A/R is it. The smaller T4 turbine S400's are awesome, but they get much pricier.
 
Is there an aluminum back plate availoble for the gt 42 as well? And can it be installed without machiming or rebalancing? Or do we have to send the turbo to you?

Which GT42?? Dual BB model or journal. They don't share the same backplates.
