u bolts

looking to remove a few leafs out of my spring pack in the back and need to find some u bolts that are about 2 " shorter than stock. Truck is a 04 2500.

I ordered u bolt plates and had the u bolts made to length . Valley spring in Dixon ca is where I went. I order the plates from ruff stuff or wfo I can't remember . Just measure your length and your local spring shop can set you up .

I got ford top plates and 5/8" thick ubolts from ruff stuff specialities, I think they will cut them to length for you.

I got 3/4" bolts from local drive line place and a top plate from Ballistic Fabrication

No, as long as they size them right and the plate is cut for 3/4" they are fine. They do look massive though.
