Water Intrusion

I noticed the other day that the headliner in my 2014 truck is discolored in both rear (backseat) corners. Rained over the weekend, and surely the C pillar moldings were wet (both sides).

Is it a cab issue or a rear window sealing issue? Anyone else experience this?

I typically find the 3 rd brake light to be the source of water intrusion.

I pulled the third brake light lens off of my 12 and sealed with silicone. Seemed to do the trick. I have also seen the body seem seals on the cab roof leak.

Sounds like I need to obtain some clear silicone. I will seal up the third brake light this weekend and see if it fixes it. Thanks for the help!

I had a similar issue, I replaced and sealed the third brake light and it didn’t work. I ended up pulling the rear seats and carpet to find a horrible seam sealer job and I could see where water had been tracking it for awhile. I ended up sealing around the rear glass, no more swimming pools in my rear storage bin.
