800hp ISX is possible but I would recommend a scatter blanket for the block/pan. (That was directed toward the resident red Kool-Air drinker from NY)
I would have a new engine tag made at a trophy shop that said 4500rpm if it was me.

At a 20mph speed limit a person can’t really take advantage of a lot of power. You will always run out of traction with speeds that slow before running out of power.

funny thing is my engine tag somehow fell off. my stock tach goes to 3500rpm and I would love to get this thing to spin that without internal love conections.
my problem right now is when sled hits at end of track I might as well of shut off the key. wont spin out. definitely need more fuel at 2500rpm its 310psi and truck is burning very clean
how did your different rocker ratio for more injector travel experiment turn out?

Ratio is not much different, the difference is in the STC cam, the entire premise around the STC system is that it uses two different parts of the injector lobe depending on if it is in advanced or retard mode.
This means the lobe has more lift, but the down fall is that the ramp to fire the injector is slower.
I’m trying to find someone currently to regrind a stock cam because I think there is more to be had.
Currently you injector is set to fire at only .224”, this is all the plunger moves in your setup. Doing away with STC would change that to around .294”. This is a big increase in fuel, but needs the right injectors to go with it.

Can you remember your own address or is your brain littered with part numbers and specs about an engine from 1976?

Not necessarily how much they will take, it’s if a person can get the barrel filled quickly enough.
I am at .335” or so right now.

So then it's down to how much rail pressure the cam or push tubes will suffer?

So what are the details on these injectors? Just a standard injector without stc or something modified?
Is it possible to build something with enough fuel to Max that ht4 so 8-850hp and still be able to pull a trailer down the road the one or 2 days I might have to

Also does the slower ramp rate affect atomization and make the truck less road friendly?
Sounds like my plans of just swapping in the 676 with a set of injectors and flowed pump isnt going to happen.

No, loaded trailer would be out of the question, too much heat.
The goal you are trying to accomplish doesn't coincide with being street friendly.

Ok. then I will just have to forget about the possibility of ever using the truck for work. More details on injectors please. Or just call the place in Texas and they will know what I need?

Would it be better to put the 833 stc cam in the 676? or just build on the 833?
833 is currently seeping lots of oil and coolant from head gasket

that is a lot more work than just changing head gaskets.

I have a spare set of injectors that would work if you would be interested in them, setting the overhead will be much different.
You would also need to have a pump built.

800 IS NOT POSSIBLE with an isx, especially with vgt. Cant be done
i-r-truckdriver. Sell all that big cam stuff and swap in a d12 or better. 1000hp all day long on a gt45.

this is another reason why I bought the 676. Bought the entire truck for less than these injectors and pump build is going to cost me.
yes I am interested in your injectors, do you have specs the pump needs to be built to? We have a local place that that can build and flow test the pump but I don't think they have knowledge beyond what the stock fuel calibrations are- i should call them.
