I can see though why most people are scared of a HX60s price after pricing a cummins spec one off of a QST30, $3100 for the specific one I looked at is ridiculous.

Step up to the HX80 and above and Cummins just throws darts at a board for pricing. $3000-10,000+
Can't say Freightliner is any better. A series 60 turbo is sub $1000 but they put a $7900 price tag on an MBE4000 replacement. Asinine.

Yep, priced an 83 the oher day that was $7900, then you can find a pretty straight forward one with 82mm compressor for around $2600.

I wasnt after anything, just random browsing. I havent use either of the big chargers I currently have to justify another.
If i buy another large frame it will be the 82mm inducer version with either a 22 or 25cm.

I'm going to see one of my old customer's from one of my trucking gig's Tuesday about moving his equipment around from job to job on some of my days off from this dispatching gig. I'm a glutton too apparently.

K-100
I am looking at buying a 2000 model K-100. It is an Aerodine with better than the comforts of home. We need a truck to ride long distances in when we start pulling and I have a soft spot for cab-overs.
This truck has a 60 series Detroit with roughly 500k on the clock, 13spd, 8 bag air ride, and drives pretty decent.
I would rate the truck as a 6 or 7 out of 10.
Is this truck worth $16k?? I know it is all up to the buyer, but, thought I'd see if you all had any suggestions.

I grew up in Cabovers and I'd have a pretty hard time spending that on one. That being said, that doesn't sound too crazy for a low mile kw, if it's clean and not a turban transporter.
