Manual 2nd gear lock up mod revisited 47rh

Can't launch the new setup with the Lockup switch

I have done the jb weld in the lower vb passage before. It worked but it also made 3rd gear act weird with the od button off. Seemed like it would fade in and out of lockup or the pressure to the forward or direct drum was affected. Anyhow I had the mod done with a he351 , 5x.010s, single disk with lower stall, and it would launch well and consistent - 1.8 60' times , 13.70s in the 1/4

64/74/14, 5x.016s, stock stall triple, manual gear select lock up mod removed-

Can't boost launch with the lockup switch because it shifts too early and gets out of the boost/power band. Barks the turbo every up shift - can't make it manually shift with lock up anymore. Truck feels faster compared to the last setup but it feels like I'm giving up and bunch of speed since I can't use the lock up switch with a 4 hi boosted launch. Tried from 20 psi still barked and fell on its face

I'm going to try and wire the tv lever all the way before I tear into the vb.
Any advice would be great. Trying to get my launches dialed in again before I try the n20 kit.
