Using $25-$30 per sq ft number I have seen used on the garage journal forum, you would be in the ballpark of $60 - $72k.

Shop looks good so far. Looking forward to finished pics.
Is that figure having a contractor doing everything start to finish?

I've been pricing 40x64x14's for this year and it's hit and miss around here...ranging anywhere from 40-65k for a building built, lined and insulated. Bigger names like Wick, Morton, FBI, Cleary are all on the high end.

Add concrete, lighting, heat, etc. and it'll keep adding up.

Even the local contractors that build Menards buildings want $5-7sq ft for putting them up.

I'm building a this exact size this summer. I designed it all up my self. Even built my own 6x6 post(can save 75 dollas a post this way). I walked into Menards and said I need x amount of steel this long and x amount of 2x6x10'. Doing it this way I saved about 5k on the price.

I will have 10k into the building in materials and I have 2k into dirt work. Had to bring in 24" of sand as that was how thick the top soil was. I will be doing the concrete floor my self (with some help from freinds) and will have about 4500 into that.

It wont be finished but will be wired.

Very jealous of the OB building nicely done.
