So what are the current thoughts on cam and gear breakage?

Is it possible that the pump had an internal drag of some sort that’s causing extra stress and load on the cam gear? 1300ccs is nothing unheard of, but 3 different failures with something that “looked” to be an issue is a little suspicious.

A cam gear breaking is not unheard of either so I’m curious to see what the next step from here will be.
