2006 f250 12v fan question

what you guys using for a fan shroud?? i broke my shroud doing the conversion and havent needed one.. but living in phoenix arizona and it coming up on summer time really quick i figure i better get one quick.. stop and go traffic is all im worried about really or getting stuck in rush hour just stopped for long periods of time.. i have the mechanical 12v fan and would like to keep it.. is the factory 6.0 fan shroud ok?? destroked wants an arm and a leg for their shrouds..i dont hve the money right now to buy electric fans either.. im using destroked motor mounts...any help is appreciated

Bump...anyone use anything different than the stock 6.0 shroud?

do you still have the stock 12 valve shroud?
if so you might try to trim that to work until you can tig a new shroud.
also, you might try getting another 6.0 shoud from craigslist or ebay..

also, there are a number of people that have had luck with using the dual electric fans from the late model for taurus and contour...

I have good luck using the 6.0 shroud with the 7.3 fan and clutch. You will need a hub adapter from GOS to mount the 7.3 fan.

I used the factory 6.0 shouf on mine with the common rail for 2 years before I installed electric fans and it worked great and fit like it was suppose to be there
