My Project

Figured there would be a few on here interested in what I'm doing. Aluminum split windshield Freightliner cab narrowed 14", chopped 7". Duramax w/parallels and 4l80 trans with a Jones quick change rear. Looking for a fun/cheap street/strip ride. Hoping to go low 9's with not a lot of power and still be able to knock down some MPG's. Just finished up the chassis, should start cage work soon. Enjoy.

Kinda. Body is final mounted. Cage is done inside and out the back. Engine/Trans mounts are done, steering is in. Brake master cylinders are mounted. Need to get engine/trans in and build the turbo kit for it before I can finish the cage out the front and final mount the coilovers. After that it's basically just systems, fuel, brakes, cooling, etc. Not feeling real good about making drag week at this point but we'll see what happens, still 6+ months out. Doing the best I can, haven't touched it for a little over a week since my Grandpa died and have had to deal with that. Hoping to hit it again this week.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys! It's been a tough build, my first, so it's not going as quickly or smoothly as you might expect. I'll get there, just not sure I'll meet the timeline I set initially. I'll try to update as it progresses.
