What is best way to haul an 8 ft box?

I need to pick up a box for my current 2nd gen project. I'm going to use my Aluma 2-wheel trailer to haul it home. I was thinking about making a short stand out of wood that I can bolt the box to. Then, I can secure the stand to the trailer and haul it home. Is this a good way or does someone know of a better way? Thanks.

I used 2 apple crates from a farm then cross tied it underneath to the trailer. I did that when I sent it to the paint shop and worked flawless.

Put come 2X2's in the stake holes on your truck, pad the top of your bed and turn it upside down on top of the bed of your truck. Not hard to tie down and can't go anywhere with the stakes. Make your stakes the correct length and they won't even touch each other.

What big papa said. I used cross boards as it was easier to slide it on. Put vice grip c-clamps where each board was. Hauled it a couple hundred miles that way. Slid it on then picked it up on each corner to put the two by in.

This is what I did to bring a box home from Missouri. Worked perfectly.

Haul it upside down. I don't recommend doing it this way. Kinda bent some schidt underneath.

Upside down. If you hit a big enough bump right side up, the impact can fold the bed under when right side up. Ask me how I know.

Numerous tie-down options. Use the hook loops inside both beds, screws into the stakes through the stake holes, C-clamps....

I use a 5x8 trailer that most beds fit on almost perfectly. works great for doing bodywork on them as well when they're off the truck.

Has anyone hauled a trailer full of beds? Seen some people have 4 beds or so standing up in a row. How's the best way to tie down all of them if some are older beds before the hoops were installed in the bed corners?

Upside down on top of the one to be replaced. Lined up stake pockets and used 1/4" plate and bolts through the pockets to fasten them together. Worked perfect
