Thanks all
Hoping to have it done in the next month but work and free time aren't getting along didn't have a chance to paint the cage yesterday so we will try again today. I'll be sure to keep the updates flowing along the reassembly process

Got some color on the cage and rear diff next steps are to weld the cage in and assemble the rear end, and pain the frame

Great work installing the cage. I'm sure that is really hard welding it in after you've already painted the cab etc. It is looking very nice though.

Built a custom fuel cell Friday it was my first big aluminum project all tig welded
Started with this:

Also finally got the seats fully mounted to the cage and floor and installed the parachute release on the cage before the cage touch up painting gets done

Wow. Very good looking. All I can think of when I see body work and sandblasting is,,, Yuck. Man it's been hot and humid, I feel your pain.

Dual calipers just for holding force on the line? And are you going to run a sway bar in that tub that connects the control arm brackets, or is it just for strength?

Yeah it's been rainy and or a million degrees for weeks here it's been too slow
I'm really pushing to get it done before sept 20th ish for a cruise for cancer benefit cruise that's a real wild time with 500ish cars tarring up the town all day last year we raised like 25k for a family with a little boy with cancer

Yes gm s10 front calipers
And yes it helps that I weld for a living lol
The big bad cars in town here are funded by shady means and or store bought so I'm very proud I'm doing all the fab and all the assembly myself in my meager shop
