There are definitely a few things that aren't my cup of tea, but that thing is pretty awesome!

Looks like you put some thought into everything underhood. What is the gauge on the pass side of the core support for?

Thanks guys. It's a mechanical oil pressure gauge. I didn't really want the gauge in the cab in case it decided to start leaking so I just mounted it under the hood where I can see it quickly. I still have the cluster gauge in the cab though.

What all is done to the mighty VE, injectors, turbo?

I appreciate the effort you've put in to make it yours.

Rear end is actually doing great. I've been driving it harder and harder. I rebuilt it about 10 thousand miles ago, didn't need it but I thought it was time. I do refuse though to do a burnout or something that would put a sudden torque load on the axles. I want it to last as long as possible. I do have a rolling 08 f250 4x4 frame that I plan on stealing the axles off of later and SAS the truck. In time though. Lol

Cool project. I will agree with Corneilus that there are a few things that arent up my ally but it is a cool build.

I've been wanting to do this with a standard cab short box. But I'm afraid of the wiring nightmare. I'd want the gauge cluster to work correctly.

Easy. Keep your old sensors and pcm and hook them into the new motor. Everything will work as it should with the exception of the tach. You need a alternator kit for that. Speed sensor is in the rear end. Everything inside my truck works without the motor in the truck except for the ignition switch. A push to start button fixed that.

The fact that you did this in/next to an apartment garage means you're way more ballsy than I am!
And I'm surprised your dash isn't lit up like a christmas tree. I'd love to do a 1500 2WD Ppump setup one day with a 4th Gen and a built Ford 9". For some reason, they're still very expensive even with a blown motor though :-(

You do what you've gotta do if you want something done. Lol I had been planning the swap for a while but I just figured better now than never. I do really want to convert to a Ppump because I want the in cab fuel controller but we will see. The only lights I have lit up on the dash is the check engine light and the check gauges light. I'm about to go into the cluster and pull the bulbs to each of those so they won't be on.

That swap you described would be pretty cool, especially if it was a little lowered. If it were mine I'd probably put a hood stack on it. Lol
