Converting drw to single rear wheel

Has anyone done a swap from dualls to single rear wheel? Is the axle same width. Will brakes clear? So on and so on!

You'll have about a 2" wider track width with DRW axle than you would with a SRW axle, and the hub will stick out a bit further than the SRW. I ran SRW on a DRW axle for about 8 months, looked normal. I've got manual locking hubs in the front that increased the track width by about 1.5", so front and rear looked even. Everything clears just fine.

This is all assuming you're talking about a pick up, not C&C.
