P pump conversion, head change

I'm thinking this is the right forum to post this in, i did a few searches without alot of luck. I've got a 12v block with the p pump, everything is complete minus the head. So I was going to change the pistons, and install the 24v head. Was wondering if there is anything special in doing this? I just want to be aware of what i'm looking at, and find out if there is anything else that will need to be modified or changed.
Thanks

Read the parts list I posted on the other thread. 12 valves are better high rpm engines because they have less moving parts. 24's can outflow the 12 valve head but they can be slightly more problematic. Valve seats, bridges, and twice the valve springs are all things to worry about that you don't have to with the 12 valve head. Plus the swap isn't very cheap.
