Pre-boost adjustment is the allen screw on the rear of the housing. The star wheel adjusts spring tension/how fast the arm moves under boost.

Hoping that answered your question on what Id compare it to?
What is your inj size and turbo setup?

truck is a 97
Have a SB 3600 on the truck already with a fresh 5spd

Picked up a used set off twins (366/475) most likely gonna sell the 66 and go for 362 just not sure what 62 and who's. Anyone know the benifit of going to a T4 vs T3 manifold and top turbo?
Got a new O-ringed head and aged studs with the twin setup.
Also have a billet tappet cover already (not that it matters for HP setups lol)

Whats in the cart so far

Smokem 5x18's..... havent decided on DV's yet
Haisley 5k's
Hamilton 188/220 or 194/220 still thinking.
HD pushrods
165# behives
CPP rebuild kit with marine pistons.
Tork tec OFV
Helman fuel sump
Fass 220
New return line from pump to frame.
Billet freeze plugs
24V oil pump
Really want a adjustable pump gear and billet cover but I think Ill hold off for now to save a couple bucks on the initial build.

I'd like to get my pump benched while the motor is out but Im not sure where to send it or what it would cost?

Any inputs on what 362 to go with
any reccomendations on my list for things to add or things that arent neccessary?

Thanks this is gonna be fun

your set up plus dyno numbers 12 valve only.

1994 12 valve engine
Scheid benched 160 pump with stock holders and stock pump cam, Mack plug, unknown dvs
5x.014 JL Machine injectors
20* timing
Stock short block
Stock cam
Normalish AFC with light spring and star wheel backed off
14mm studs, fire rings
Light amateur port job in the valve pockets
S362 62/65/14 I think (unsure about turbine - but it's an older one)
Pulse manifold (negligible effect I think)
AFE intake - should have taken off before pull - a brand new air filter pulls 13" vacuum at WOT...
AirDog 150 @ 30 psi (gauge) single feed to pump

496hp 1068tq on a DynoJet

*pull was on 38" tall x 15.50 wide tires, 18x10 rims - not sure how much of a difference it makes but I know it affects the number some with that much more rotating mass to accelerate.

Also could have been better with a little AFC work. I left it how it was benched and only recently took it all apart to revisit things, and found some left on the table there.

Even still, I would be really surprised if there was another 50hp in there on stock tires if it was really dialed in.

Also worth mentioning that the pull was on #2 straight pump fuel only.

I think it spools pretty well to make hp on a chassis dyno. When hooked to the sled, I can leave the line at 100psi. Im trying a version of it as a single right now. It made about 50psi coming off the line, full throttle against the governor, then destroyed my clutch.

I forgot to mention, it was hard on thrust bearings for some reason. Mine was an f-trim with a 31cm housing, most are g's with 41's.

im running a ht80 with a 35cm housing if i remember correctly with a 366 feeding it. It doesnt seem to light till about 3700rpm, granted i still have a lot of tuning left to do, ive thought about trying a billet wheel in the ht80 but wasnt sure if it would be worth it.

What was your total boost on the twins?

Austin, ive run with and without the billet wheel, cant really remember a difference in spool. I am working on an order of drop in 8blade billet wheels. Should be here by years end. Jason, 100psi on street and an eddy current dyno, roughly 80 on an inertia only, and 120 or so hooked to the sled. Its hard to watch and I seldom can hold full throttle. Both turbos have made 60psi as singles.
