Electric wheelchair and scooter.

I have an electric wheelchair and scooter to donate if anyone is looking. Wheelchair is a Sunrise Medical Pulse 6. Several tears old but was used by my dad to go from his room to the dining room. Pretty good shape, not a $20k chair but not a cheapo either(around $5500 new). Scooter needs a new battery but 8 months ago was running fine when I put it in the garage. Have chargers for both and will be headed to Texas(Bedias and Wichita Falls) around Thanksgiving. Might be able to squeeze it under the camper shell. After Dad passed I figured I'd save it for Mom just in case. She passed a couple weeks ago so I have zero need for it.

Sorry about your mom Ron.
You may want to check with churches in your area as far as donating those. When my wives parents were sick, there was a local church that allowed us the use of some medical supplies for free. You could also check with hospice in your area, or retirement homes.
 
Thanks Jeff. I'm a little burned out with care homes and VA stuff right now. Figured I'd ask here before checking at the VFW and Church.
 
As Snedge said above, sorry to hear about your mother. I have no use for it, but thanks for offering it to CompD!

Maybe a hot rod electric scooter should be the next project. Go green with going fast,
