5.9 ring gap help.??????

STD bore does anyone have a dirty little secret on a good ring gap for street/drag with maybe a little shot of noz in the near future...I appreciate y’all a help

I know when I asked a shop in Canada that has some bigger 2k hp builds they like using oem rings std gap even on sleeved block with spray. They seemed to have good luck with it like that. Then I’ve seen some use total seal rings so not really sure what’s the most effective.

I would request that they be set on the high end of the tolerance. A little bit loose is better than too tight.

You asking for the first or second ring? I went to the top end of OEM but don’t plan on spraying. Still gonna run hot though
