We settled today on using a 48re. We were going to try to use either a turbo 400 a maybe even a lenco however budget and needing overdrive has led as to use the 48.

Everything is going as planned still haven't got up to the shop to snag pictures. I know our guy has gotten swamped with work so things are moving a little slower but still progressing. Hope to have the motor in the truck by the end of the month

Truck rolls on its own. Rear axle is in cage is done dummy motor is in and bolted up. Steering and wiring are next get the actual motor in and will be ready! Headed to the shop Wednesday to get pictures

Can't wait to see pictures!!! I think mikes vp set up will get a few trucks in the 9's for sure. However, I'm positive that any vp combo won't make the power that is needed to compete in ohio in 2.6
