Long story shortly

i have in Europe 1998 Ram 1500 quad 4x4 , oficcially converted to 5.9 Cummins.

On the registration documents the towing capacity is 3300lbs /1490kg , I think this is not correct value.

Can somebody advice where to look or who to contact, to get actual info about this truck towing values.

Note , the local dealer have rised hands and can not help me, they have no information

Spec shows 4800 lbs. tow 1807 lbs. haul. From Edmunds spec sheet.

Not sure how correct the web site below is, but is it possible that they have a different capacity because of different safely standards between the US and the EU.

I had answer front of me, but I had no idea to look inside.

The towing capacity chart is in owners manual.

So the corrct answer for 1500 originalli V8 automatic 4x4 truck is 7800lbs
