does compounding add or takeaway

4th gen or all diesels

stock fuel only change is manifold charger..

let's say we have a 62mm with 74mm turbine .80a/r turbocharger..


one question...

which will build boost or spool up faster....

a single 62. or a compouded 62 ?

I know on my 06 when I had the 5.9 I found that the stock charger vs the stock charger with a 475 under it was about the same start for it lighting but the top end was way, way better.
